Crete 2000 - National J/24 Cup   "Pictures"

One of the best Organized National Cups.
Congratulations to:
  • The I.O.A.N. "AEOLOS" Club.
  • The DS of J/24 class in Greece.
    •

    Picture presentation started as promised - Monday 11pm!!!.
    It will last several days :-( so, stay tuned.
    I'm working (nights only!,).

    Note as well that pictures were taken in low-res, on the Olympus 920 digital,
    ready for web presentation. That is 29pixels/cm or 74,999pixels/inch. For the final
    presentation on the web are compressed in .jpg format in 5medium quality,
    and it gives a 55-60K picture.
    Still when printed in 10x12cm photo paper, (on photo quality inkjet printer), they
    look very nice.
    Magazines require 300pixels/inch. This quality will result in a picture of 10-50MB!!! at least.
    This is a "forbidden" size for web transmit ion especially in Greece at the present.
